rooted relics

Rooted Relics is a sculptural series featuring three mycelium-cast works that blur the lines between organic growth and archaeological discovery. Ranging from large vessel-like forms to reimagined domestic objects, these hydrophobic biomaterial sculptures appear to emerge from the soil—echoing relics uncovered from a speculative, future excavation. Each piece draws inspiration from domestic items found in the artist's family home and archive, weaving together memory, material innovation, and imagined histories.
