Entre art, technologie et science, Victoria Pham est une artiste australienne, biologiste de l'évolution, écrivaine et compositrice. Elle est basée entre Paris, France et Sydney, Australie.
Victoria est représentée par leCentre de musique australienen tant qu'artiste associée où une collection de ses partitions est disponible. Elle est directrice artistique deARTS DE LA FABLE, artiste principal duRETENTISSANTprojet avec James Nguyen, co-artiste principal du collectif SONANT BODIES avec James Hazel, et animateur et producteur de séries de podcastsDÉCLASSIFIER.
Ses œuvres ont été jouées, exposées et commandées à travers l'Australie, les États-Unis d'Amérique, le Royaume-Uni et la France. Elle a été commandée et exposée dans un certain nombre de galeries et d'ensembles tels que la TATE Britain, Art Gallery of New South Wales, ArtsHouse Melbourne, le Melbourne Symphony Orchestra et le Campbelltown Arts Centre (pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns !) En tant que biologiste de l'évolution et archéologue, sa spécialisation est en bioacoustique, l'évolution des technologies de signalisation sonore et de cartographie acoustique Victoria a travaillé dans plusieurs musées internationaux, a mené des travaux de terrain en solo dans le monde entier et à l'Institut Max Planck pour la science de l'histoire humaine en tant que chercheur. et illustrateur. Elle entreprend actuellement un doctorat en anthropologie biologique à l'Université de Cambridge, St John's College.

Son travail artistique et musical est guidé par des explorations des connexions sonores entre les mémoires générationnelles, la décolonisation et la narration communautaire. La marque de fabrique de sa pratique interdisciplinaire est sa conviction qu'un partenariat avec la nature est fondamental en tant que fondement et collaborateur de sa conception, de sa recherche et de son travail basé sur le son. Victoria continue de poursuivre son travail de conception biologique en écoutant profondément la nature et en recherchant la bioacoustique et la mycologie qui informent les approches croisées qui structurent son processus créatif.
